Obama’s Real Problem? Fox News!
These people just don’t get it:
“Obama’s big problem,” a senior Democrat told me, “is that four times as many people watch Fox News as watch CNN.” The Fox network is a remarkable cultural phenomenon which almost shocks those of us from a country where a technical rule of impartiality is applied in the broadcast media. With little rest, it pours out rage 24 hours a day: its message is of the construction of the socialist state, the hijacking of America by “progressives” who now dominate institutions, the indoctrination of children, the undermining of religion and the expropriation of public money for these nefarious projects. The public loves it, and it is manifestly stirring up political activism against Mr Obama, and also against those in the Republican Party who are not deemed conservatives. However, it is arguable whether the now-reorganising Right is half as effective in its assault on the President as some of Mr Obama’s own party are.
So let me see. Deficit being raised to astronomical levels, unemployment high and getting higher, housing market down in the dumps, pushing a bill that nobody wants, reading terrorists Miranda rights, putting those same terrorists on trial in the United States, closing gitmo, and making government into some socialist state to control every aspect of a persons life.
That’s not his BIG PROBLEM.
No, it’s Fox News and it’s “24 hr rage”
Guess they missed MSNBC during the Bush years eh?
Idiots.

Obama’s “Big Problem” is an informed electorate!
Heh. “It’s Fox News’ fault!” That’s a howler.
Maybe it’s the Washington Post’s fault, too. They are now asking senior administration officials, separately, to name a foreign leader with whom Barack Obama has forged a strong personal relationship during his first year in office. A lot of hemming and hawing ensued…

The world hates us more than ever thanks to B. Hussein Obama.
We’re deeper in debt than ever thanks to B. Hussein Obama.
The list goes on and on and on.
Worst president ever by far.
@Skookum — thanks!
American Voter, you drove that one home with a twelve pound sledge!
look here is the story! it is always our fault and never theirs! i hope that saves a lot of time now. you are welcome.
When I have gotten into a conversation with Obama loyalists and they start harping on FOX News, I relayed three things:
1) FOX News was in business during the 2008 Presidential Cycle. . .Obama still got elected!
2) I have not seen a law that requires me or anyone to watch FOX news, have you?
3) Pick a show(s) on any night and I will watch the selected shows on the same night — then
tell me what was untruthful or qualifies as a rage against O.
I have never gotten anyone of these loyalists to follow up on the challenge or to bring up FOX News — again.
Several weeks ago Mike’s America offered a list of symptoms for someone with narcissist-type tendencies, . . . I believe one of the symptoms included a tendency to place blame on anyone else but themselves. . . Is Obama going to try and close FOX News — who would he blame next and try to put out of business? and next? and next? Seems he would not be happy until all the news broadcast/printed originated from the White House internal news Team?
Then again, maybe he needs to go to war with them again. That will bring their ratings up…again.
Poor guy. It’s sad to think his opposition is in a position to criticize him. That’s never happened to any other president. He just has all the bad luck. May he should issue an executive order forbidding his subjects to watch Fox.

Democrats don’t think they make mistakes. The have never accepted that they do and they never will.
An inherent problem with propaganda is it is boring. People watch the news to learn what is happening in the world, not to be inundated with mindless babble from Obama’s Socialist sycophants and the praise Obama chants. Even Lemmings can become bored with witless talking heads trying to convince them of what to say and think.
If we would simply just shut-up, drink the cool-aid, and let our elected representatives do anything they want, then we wouldn’t have this problem.
This is too funny! When does Obama take responsibility for HIS failed leadership? As sports fans, we demand the head coach or manager take responsibility for our favorite teams’ losses. As consumers, we demand the companies that produce our goods take responsibility for their products’ failures, and ultimately in this case the responsibility is demanded from the CEO or owner. In every other instance in life, we demand that the responsibility rests at the top, but in the case of government, we as a nation don’t demand the same. We allow them to place the blame on ghosts and straw-men instead of standing up and taking that blame themselves.
And this is what the anti-TEA party crowd doesn’t understand. That the movement is demanding that the politician’s take that responsibility when they don’t meet our expectations.
My father taught me that everyone makes mistakes, but that only those who are true and honest are the ones that own up to those mistakes and accepts the responsibility. I try to teach the same to my kids. One has to wonder then what these people’s parents actually taught them growing up.
PS – The too funny comment does not infer that I really find it funny. Quite the opposite in reality.
So a “technical rule of impartiality” applies to CNN, MSNBC, CBS and the rest??? Now THAT’S funny!!!
Shoot the messenger
Typical Dem strategy, when the problem makes you look bad, misdiret it to something you don’t like even more. THen refuse to discuss it.
