“Act Like A Lady”

ST. PAUL, MN - SEPTEMBER 02: U.S. Rep. Michel...

It amazes me how the Democrat party continues with their arrogance toward conservatives. Arlen Specter made a complete jerk of himself when he attacked Michelle Bachman on the radio yesterday. This has gotten a lot of play over the internet and once again, we see a huge backlash against liberals acting irresponsibly.

The cantankerous Specter who has managed to show his behind a number of times totally embarrassed himself once again. This outburst is sure to cost him when November comes around, as he is already in trouble politically and currently polling behind Republican challenger Pat Toomey by double digits. But this outburst goes beyond Specter’s arrogance, this is the perfect example of the arrogance that Democrats have exerted since they swept into power.

Over the last twelve months conservatives have been bombarded by negative attacks from the left. Don’t forget the grief we have all caught with the tea parties and town hall meetings, the attacks on conservative personalities like Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Sarah Palin and others, and more recently attacks against those who voted for Chris Christie, Bob McDonnell or Scott Brown.

It is obvious now, the left has played their hand too often and the truth has played out too many times over the last year. When there is no substantive argument, the left’s only defense is to attack. And this is exactly what Specter did to Bachmann – he had no defense to her statement that she voted for prosperity and since he had no plausible response, he went into attack mode.

There will be many things remembered over Obama’s first year in office. I predict “act like a lady” will be a rallying cry for conservatives for months and years to come.

For those of you who may have missed this story, the following is a replay of Bachman on Hannity last night:

“and more recently attacks against those who voted for Creigh Deeds, Bob McDonnell or Scott Brown.”

Do you mean Deeds, or Christie or Hoffman. Deeds was the Dem candidate in Virginia. You might want to edit this piece.

I totally agree – I wonder what Sarah Palin would write on her hand about all this? ;) I don’t really care what she says as long as she keeps wearing skirts!!

Hello, I was scanning another fact about this on another blog. Interesting. Your perspective onto it is diametrically contradicted to what I read earlier. I am still pondering over the opposite points of view, but I’m leaning to a large degree toward yours. And irrespective, that’s what is so wonderful about modern-day democracy and the marketplace of ideas online.
